MOVING FORWARD INTO THE NEW as we celebrate the power, passion and resilience of youth Our artistic staff, conductors, teachers, and coaches are enthusiastic about in-person rehearsals and music-making with our students this season. We have our COVID-safety protocol in place and will be following the recommendations of the state Public Education Department and the governor. Your support of this general fund helps us provide excellent programming and staff leadership, training, student instrumental coaching, facilities and supplies like HEPA air-filters, masks, sheet music for our musicians, and concert space. |
BRIDGING THE GAP to make sure all of our students have the support and resources to join us, succeed, and enjoy making music In a pandemic-hampered world we realize many of our families have experienced job loss, reduced-income, medical bills, and loss of family and friends. SFYSA continues to envision Music for Everyone as a healing and community building project. We are expanding our support for youth who need tuition assistance, instruments (size appropriate string instruments for our youngest students, and mariachi instruments for new students), and private lessons to continue their journey and receive the many benefits of music and performance education. This fund is supported by your contributions and grants from community organizations. |
