Marisela Angulo
Mari provides marketing, publicity and graphic design services to the Santa Fe Youth Symphony Association through Angulo Marketing & Design a marketing firm focused on authors and non-profit organizations. Angulo Marketing & Design is a recipient of state and National Federation of Press Women's communication awards for short promotional videos (2015, 2017), e-newsletters for non-profit organizations (2017) and website design (2021). Mari began her college studies at St. John’s College in Santa Fe, where she studied the Great Books, before receiving degrees in International Business and Marketing from Universidad del Valle de Mexico, a Laureate International University in northern Mexico, where she spearheaded the first V-Day "Vagina Monologues" benefit event in the region. Upon moving to Santa Fe, she managed the nonprofit Maria Benitez Institute for Spanish Arts, promoting workshops, educational programs and performances for youth and professional flamenco artists, before assuming the executive directorship of Santa Fe Youth Symphony Association (2014-2016). In 2016, the Santa Fe Community Foundation identified Mari as an Emerging Social Sector Leader. Since then, Mari has also served as a panelist for the New Mexico Arts Division grants for Arts Learning in the Schools and in Community. She enjoys combining her non-profit and marketing experience with her lifelong appreciation for the arts, to strengthen arts and social service organizations while serving the community.
