On March 13, the Lensic Performing Arts Center presented a performance to celebrate Round Mountain's musical heritage. The event featured Santa Fe’s own Round Mountain (Robby Rothschild and Char Rothschild) and the Santa Fe Youth Philharmonia, along with students from Santa Fe University of Art and Design (SFUAD) and Turquoise Trail Charter School.
The successful performance attracted a diverse audience of over 500. "As Santa Fe kids, we were lucky to grow up in this unique confluence of musical cultures,” says Char. “Some of the biggest influences on our journey happened in our school years—Richard Snider...was a formative influence throughout junior high and high school.” Special thanks to YPO Conductor, Richard Snider, for his musical contribution to many generations of youth in Santa Fe! SFYSA is proud to have you! Round Mountain made a $1,000 donation to SFYSA for the group’s participation. Thank You Round Mountain!
